Sarkodie has finally spoken about recieving a fake award from Dr UN which made him a laughing stock in the country.
Rapper Sarkodie and a host of celebrities including members of Parliament and dignitaries were conned by a gentleman who claimed to be from the United Nations.
Dr. UN presented golden bottles and plates to D-Black, Sarkodie and Co for doing God knows what.
Sarkodie, after threatening to beat the hell out of Dr. UN for wasting his time and tarnishing his image, has revealed that he has thought out and come to the conclusion that he is going to keep the fake Dr UN Award.
Narrating how the whole thing happened, Sarkodie said his manager, Angeltown was to blame because he convinced him to stay at the event ground although he saw many red flags.
He added that he nearly told his team to walk out upon seeing how poorly organised the event is but he kept quiet after seeing high profile celebs also seated.
Sark said upon months of deliberations, he convinced himself to keep the award because it is an award from the Dr. UN himself which is laudable just that it did not go through the right channel.
Watch him speak below;
This interview forms part of king Sark’s media tour to create awareness for his upcoming album dubbed “No Pressure”.
Last night, the rapper released the visuals and audio for “Vibration“, a hip hop single off the album featuring American rapper Vic Mensa.
