Award-winning Dancehall King, Shatta Wale has finally launched his new business venture, the much anticipated ‘Shaxi’ App.
Shaxi is a 100 percent Ghanaian commercial transport module in a form of taxi just like Uber, Bolt and others which will be used on phone by passengers.
This initiative forms part of Shatta Wale’s dream to employ jobless graduates as it creates jobs for the Ghanaian youths.
Shatta Wale says the launch of Shaxi is to create a sustainable business to provide employment for the youth of the country
“Everybody knows I love the youth of Ghana and I always want to see them do well. I want to see the boys and girls in the ghettos move from being unemployed to having gainful employment,’’ he said.
Shatta added that his motives for setting up the business are not for profit-making but intends to make an impact and leave a mark.
‘’Shaxi is not for Shatta Wale and friends, it’s a Ghanaian project for Ghanaians. So let’s all embrace it and make it happen,’’ he added.
Shaxi becomes the latest ride-hailing application and it is already charting at number two on the apple play store with a 4.3 rating.
