Afia Schwarzenegger has attempted to explain her lies about receiving Ghc 50,000 from the Chief of Staff during her father’s funeral.
Under stern interrogation from panellists on United Showbiz, Schwarzenegger claimed she was being sarcastic.
Apparently, bragging about receiving Ghc 50,000 at your father’s ‘high-class’ funeral and not ‘Our day’ is sarcasm.
As you might recollect, Schwarzenegger caused a stir by claiming the Chief of Staff gave her Ghc 50,000 at her funeral.
The Chief of Staff came out to deny it after it became a huge issue.
Afia later apologised in shame.
She was grilled over the issue on United Showbiz tonight.
Afia was cornered and tried to find a rationale for her pathological lies.
According to Afia, she was being sarcastic when she said the chief of staff gave her the amount.
How does that even make sense?
Afia claims she was disappointed the Chief of Staff did not come to the funeral and made the comment sarcastically.
Afia fumbled as she struggled to explain herself under strong interrogation from Arnold Asamoah Baidoo.
Lying is second nature to Afia hence even some people in the studio, such as Ola Michael, refused to believe her explanations of sarcasm.
Social media users also trolled her claims.
