Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has termed the 90 days jail of Akuapem Poloo as too lenient.
Speaking on ‘The Seat’ show, a program on his Net2 television, Kennedy Agyapong was asked about the most trending topic on social media recently, which is the case of Akuapem Poloo serving her 90 days jail term for exposing her 7 year old son to her nakedness.
Most Ghanaian celebrities has stood against the action taken by the court as they term it as too harsh. Others are even calling for an appeal.
However, the Politician got no sympathy for Rosemond Brown as he suggested a whole year to had been given to her.
According to Kennedy Agyapong, being a celebrity does not guarantee you to use your platform for what you like since there are rules in this country.
“People are creating social media platforms to make money but Ghanaians are using it for unnecessary things.” He emphasized.
“For me I don’t have a problem if you are a celebrity, but there should be some respect.”
