The nation has been plunged into mourning as legendary highlife musician Daddy Lumba, born Charles Kojo Fosu, has died. The celebrated icon passed away earlier today at The Bank Hospital in Accra after a short illness, according to a statement released by his family.
The family has requested privacy during this difficult time and noted that funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course. “We are heartbroken by this loss and ask the public to respect our privacy as we grieve,” the family’s statement read.
