Joe PeeThe Electoral Commission (EC) lied when it announced that it had commenced payment of its temporal staff for the voters’ registration exercise.
A statement from the Electoral Management body on September 25 said the Commission had commenced payment of temporal officers who were used for the registration exercise.
The Commission said it was going to complete payments by close of Thursday October 1.
However, as of today October 2, some officers who spoke to Adwoaadubianews.com under the condition of strict anonymity said the Electoral Commission has failed to pay them their monies contrary to the announcement made
To them, it is shocking the Commission which is supposed to take its credibility seriously will lie to the country of making payments when they have not.
It is not clear why the Electoral Commission will make an announcement when they are cock sure that they have not paid monies due their temporal staff.
