In a recent circulated video spotted by adwoaadubianews.com, Kumawood actor and musician Frank Naro publicly apologized to fellow actor Emelia Brobbey, addressing and debunking allegations of a romantic affair between them. Rumors of a relationship surfaced on social media, reportedly after Frank Naro’s TikTok live session with fans, where the speculation initially began. However, Naro clarified that the rumors were entirely unfounded, blaming an unknown individual who allegedly fabricated the story for attention.
Emelia Brobbey, a respected figure in the Kumawood industry, declined to comment directly on the matter in an interview. Although visibly upset, she expressed faith that anyone spreading false information would face divine justice. Days after the rumors spread, Frank Naro was seen visiting the police station, leading to further speculation. However, the Film Producers Association of Ghana (FIPAG) PRO, Abro, clarified that the visit was related to a complaint Naro had filed against the individual responsible for the rumors, rather than an investigation into any romantic involvement.
Addressing the issue, Naro emphasized his deep respect for Emelia Brobbey, describing her as a “big sister” figure in the industry. He assured fans that he had never approached her romantically, nor discussed her personal matters with others. According to Naro, the delay in addressing the issue publicly was due to his wish to respond calmly, without making rash statements he might later regret.
