This development forms part of an ongoing nationwide operation to curb the troubling trend that has taken root in certain areas across the country.
In an official statement, the police confirmed the confiscation of a significant quantity of toy guns from the suspects during their operations. The apprehended individuals are currently assisting with investigations and are expected to face legal proceedings to ensure justice is served.
The police expressed concern over the increasing use of toy guns in unlawful acts, emphasizing the potential dangers posed by such practices. Toy guns are often modified or wielded to mimic real firearms, creating fear and facilitating crimes such as robberies and assaults.
