The National Disaster Management Organisation is currently holding a 3 day intensive capacity building for all its Nothern Sector Regional Directors, District Directors and other staff belonging to the organization’s operations unit at GNAT Hall in Tamale.
The training which started yesterday, 10th August 2020 is in line with organization’s preparations towards the spillage of the Bagre Dam.
Participants will be taken through Pre-Flood Preparedness, Search and Rescue on Water Bodies, EOC Management, Tent Management and Basic First Response among others.
The program is being facilitated by the Director General of NADMO and ably supported the Deputy Director in charge of Operations, Mr. Abu Ramadan and other facilitators.
The Director General, in his opening address, charged the participants to give up their best in the Region’s preparedness on flood risk management in this rainy season.
