Popular Ghanaian ex-boxer and social media figure, Bukom Banku, has opened up about a painful period in his life when he was falsely accused of stabbing someone, an incident that led to his public humiliation and time spent on remand.
Sharing his emotional experience, Bukom Banku recounted how the false allegation not only tarnished his image but also caused deep hurt, as some of his own family members and community turned their backs on him.
“They disgraced me without knowing the truth,” he said, revealing how isolating and traumatic the episode was.
Now cleared of all wrongdoing, Bukom Banku says he holds no bitterness toward those who judged him harshly. “I have forgiven them all,” he stated, adding that he has moved on from the past with a clean heart. According to him, the truth has brought peace, and he is focusing on the future rather than dwelling on the pain.
