The Bono Region has recorded its first Covid-19 case.
According to sources the infected person (Ivorian-togolese) was trying to cross border into the country through a village called boko, suburb of Sampa in theJaman North District where he was apprehended by the immigration personnel.
The man whose name has not yet been identified was then tested for the virus and the result came out positive.
The patient is currently in an isolation centre at the Sampa government hospital.
Further investigations are been ascertain about him.
Ghana has so far recorded 3,091confirmed cases, 303 recovery with 18 deaths.
