FrimpongKabiru Moro, a former Ghana Premier League striker for Real Tamale United, Asante Kotoko, and Medeama SC, died abruptly.
His death was confirmed when he collapsed during a community football game in Akwatia, in the Eastern Region.
Kabiru Moro, a well-known figure in Ghanaian football, died at the young age of 35.
He has had a successful career and was a key member of the Medeama SC club that won the MTN FA Cup in 2013. He also assisted them during their run in the CAF Confederations Cup.
When he played in the Ghana Premier League, he was well known for his contributions and talent, and his passing has saddened the football community.
Although the cause of his fall and death has not yet been disclosed, his teammates and fans will always cherish his memory.
