Kuami Eugene discussing his industry relationships during a radio interview

Ghanaian music star Kuami Eugene has spoken openly about his relationships with some of his colleagues in the music industry, addressing long-standing rumors of tension.

In a recent interview on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz segment, he dismissed claims of conflict and emphasized that he maintains peaceful relations with those often linked to past controversies involving him.

Touching on his alleged fallout with rapper Guru, Kuami Eugene made it clear that there is no bad blood between them. He noted that while there may have been differences in the past, he holds no grudges and respects Guru as a fellow creative. His comments aimed to shut down recurring speculation about a rift.

The Rockstar also addressed public perception surrounding his connection with DopeNation, a music duo he once shared a label with. Kuami Eugene explained that he has no issues with the pair and described himself simply as a “troll” who enjoys harmless fun, stressing that it’s all in good humor and never personal.

When asked about KiDi, his former Lynx Entertainment labelmate, Kuami Eugene, described him as “a brother.” He spoke warmly about their bond, saying they’ve built a strong friendship over the years that has lasted beyond the label’s walls. According to him, they remain in close contact and support each other.

Kuami Eugene’s revelations come as a step toward promoting unity in Ghana’s music scene. By setting the record straight on these relationships, he hopes to encourage fans and industry players alike to focus more on collaboration and growth rather than fuelling division through assumptions and rumors.
