Its been a month and social media users are still on the agenda to help fix the country as the hashtag fix the country Ghana still tops the trending spot on microblogging platform Twitter as the majority of Ghanaian youth calls on the government to do so.
After the novel coronavirus pandemic effect on the economy of numerous nations, Ghana gets its fair share as unemployment gets on the rise.
Fix the country conveners who were confirmed to be largely National Democratic Congress (NDC) supporters have been speaking on Kumasi-based Hello FM and many other top media houses as they were said to have planned a mega demonstration in Kumasi.
The demonstration was alleged to be led by the senior brother of loudmouth NDC Communications Officer, Sammy Gyamfi who is in the shape of Brogya Genfi (former Ashanti Regional NDC youth organiser).
Interestingly, an alleged secret conversation between the conveners and the NDC Ashanti Regional caucus of the party has surfaced online as it details that, former President John Dramani Mahama is pleased with the plot and ready to pay GH¢900.00 to each demonstrator.
Baba Jamal of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) while speaking on Kumasi-based Hello FM sighted that, the people of Kumasi are feeling the heat of ‘dumsor’ and they can’t wait to be part of the pending demonstration in the garden city.
