Lt. Col. Frank Agyemang who was removed from his position as director of operations at the National Security Ministry following the assault on Citi FM Journalist, Caleb Kudah, has been appointed to command the 64 battalion of the Ghana Armed Forces.

Lt. Col. Agyemang, together with three other officers were removed from the National Security after a committee set up to probe their role in the Caleb Kudah assault concluded that their conduct was inappropriate.

However, this portal has picked up credible reports that the former director of operations at the National Security Ministry has been appointed to command the 64 battalion.

Lt. Col. Agyemang was formerly a second-in-command at the 64 battalion until he was seconded to the National Security Ministry.
