The outspoken lawmaker whiles addressing a gathered crowd said the military is not invited for any form of protection – since they are only dealing with the police service.
He warned that any person spotted in a military uniform during the walk would be treated as a “criminal” and “handed over to the police.”
The NDC’s ‘March For Justice’ according to the organizers was planned because of the killings and brutalization of some citizens by various security agencies in the country.
Before the march, the police declined a request to protect them but was later agreed on after a series of meetings.
