AdubianewsWhen Nigerians relocate, they don’t just change addresses, they bring the drama, the jollof rice supremacy battles, and a radar for where the party and food are at. And according to one Nigerian man, Ghana might just be the new headquarters for “chop life.”
In a trending video on social media, the man humorously explained a rather unconventional reason why Nigerians are increasingly settling in Ghana. Forget job opportunities or world-class education for him, the real attraction is the endless stream of funerals held every Saturday, which he claims doubles as “free food day.”
He jokingly noted that gaining access to these events isn’t rocket science. All you need is the ability to cry dramatically and convincingly, and boom, you’re in. He added that Ghana’s funeral culture is enough reason to call it home.
