Diella TekuThe Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana has today, October 15, 2024, launched an online re-exhibition of the Provisional Voters Register, allowing citizens to verify their details in the run-up to the 2024 General Elections.
This initiative, which will run until October 19, is aimed at ensuring that eligible voters have the opportunity to confirm the accuracy of their registration information.
Ghanaians can access the online platform by dialing the shortcode *711*51# free of charge. By entering their 10-digit Voter ID number, citizens can review their registration details.
Any errors or discrepancies found during this period can be reported to the voter’s respective District Office, though the EC stresses that corrections will only be allowed within this exhibition window.
This digital effort is part of a broader strategy to ensure an accurate voter roll ahead of the December 2024 elections, reinforcing transparency and trust in the electoral process.
