Ghanaian prophet, Prophet Roja, has made a startling revelation about the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi.

Speaking on Onua Maakye with Captain Smart, the prophet disclosed that Chairman Wontumi could face 15 years in jail if his loved ones fail to pray earnestly for him. According to him, the politician’s situation is spiritually delicate and requires divine intervention to prevent imprisonment.

Prophet Roja revealed that the NPP chairman has offended someone who holds the key to his freedom and urged his close associates to pray fervently for mercy. He emphasized that without serious spiritual backing, Wontumi’s legal challenges could lead to severe consequences.

Chairman Wontumi is currently facing multiple legal battles linked to his alleged involvement in illegal mining activities through Akonta Mining Company Limited. He has been accused of engaging in mining operations without a valid license and assigning mineral rights without ministerial approval, offenses that carry severe penalties under Ghana’s mining laws.

Earlier this month, the Accra High Court granted him GH₵15 million bail with strict conditions after he appeared to answer charges related to unauthorized mining activities in the Samreboi area of the Western North Region. The case has generated widespread public attention, given Wontumi’s political prominence and influence within the ruling party.

Prophet Roja’s prophecy has since stirred mixed reactions, with some viewing it as a divine warning, while others see it as a mere coincidence amid the politician’s ongoing legal troubles.

He concluded his revelation by stressing that only prayer and repentance could change the outcome of events. “If those around him will stand in the gap, God can show mercy,” he said.
