Renowned Ghanaian pastor Rev. Kwadwo Bempah, Senior Pastor of the Holy Hill Chapel Assemblies of God, has opened up about the prophecy he gave concerning President John Dramani Mahama’s victory in the upcoming elections.
Speaking in an interview with Bola Ray on Starr Chat, the man of God explained that the prophecy was not politically motivated but was based on a divine vision he received from God three years ago.
According to Rev. Bempah, God revealed to him in that vision that John Mahama would return to power, and he was only being obedient by sharing what was shown to him. He stressed that his role as a prophet is to communicate divine messages, not to align with political interests.
“I do not belong to any political party. I only speak what God reveals to me,” he said during the interview.
Touching on the backlash and criticism that followed his prophecy, Rev. Bempah admitted that many people often misunderstand the prophetic ministry. He noted that sometimes even prophets themselves are not pleased with certain messages they receive but must still deliver them as instructed by God.
“There are times when we, as prophets, don’t like what we see, but when God reveals something, we have no choice but to declare it,” he added.
The clergyman further shared that being a true servant of God comes with many challenges, including rejection and public scrutiny. Despite the negativity, he said he has learned to respond with prayer rather than anger, praying for those who doubt or attack him.
Rev. Bempah emphasized that he has never received a vision from God and kept it secret, explaining that his prophetic duty is not about personal opinion but about fulfilling God’s purpose.
“I am not a man for myself; I am a man of God. Whatever He shows me, I say it as it is,” he concluded.
