Former Communications Manager of Charterhouse Productions, George Quaye, has called out Ras Mubarak, MP for Kunbungu Constituency, for asserting Shatta Wale doesn’t deserve the alleged GH₵2 million he received from his ambassadorial deal with Ghana Exim Bank.
Taking to Instagram to respond to the legislator’s assertions, George bitterly spoke about the MP’s arguments demeaning it a disrespect to not only Shatta Wale but any other creative in the Ghanaian creative space.
According to the Public Relations expert who was popularly known in Ghana as Aboagye from his days as an actor in Ghana’s hit TV series, Taxi Driver, Shatta Wale deserves the alleged GH₵ 2 million considering the influence Shatta Wale has amassed in the Ghanaian music industry and the country as a whole.
He argued that per the legilator’s assertion on Shatta Wale and his ambassadorial deal with Ghana Exim Bank, it’s a clear indication politicians don’t regard the Arts Industry.
