Ghanaian dancehall superstar Shatta Wale, known in private life as Charles Nii Armah Mensah, has revealed that ShattaFest will now be held every year.
Speaking in an interview, Shatta Wale expressed deep gratitude to his fans, Ghanaians, and sponsors such as MTN for their overwhelming support, which made the maiden edition of the concert a massive success.
According to him, despite the short notice and the huge budget involved, he decided to take a leap of faith and proceed with preparations, and Ghanaians did not disappoint as they showed up in impressive numbers.
The “Ayoo” hitmaker further disclosed that with continued backing from major brands like MTN, his vision is to make ShattaFest an annual celebration and eventually take it to other regions across the country.
“This is just the beginning,” Shatta Wale noted, emphasizing his desire to use the festival to unite fans and showcase Ghanaian talent on a grand stage.
The event, held at the Accra Sports Stadium, was nothing short of electrifying. Thousands of fans filled the venue, singing along to Shatta Wale’s hit songs and waving flags in excitement.
