Students applying for the ‘No Fees Stress’ policy under the Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) now have extra time to complete their submissions, as the Fund has extended the deadline for the 2024/2025 academic year.
According to a press release issued on Thursday, July 31, the SLTF No Fees Stress deadline has been moved to Thursday, August 7, 2025. “This extension provides applicants with additional time to complete their submissions,” the Fund noted.
However, SLTF emphasized that this will be the final opportunity for students to apply. “Please note that this is the FINAL EXTENSION, and the deadline will NOT be extended further after August 7, 2025,” the statement read.
Students who qualify have been strongly encouraged to take advantage of the extension. “All eligible students are urged to submit their applications on or before this date to take advantage of the ‘No Fees Stress’ Policy,” it added.
Reaffirming its commitment to student support, the Fund stated: “The SLTF remains committed to providing timely and accessible financial assistance to Ghanaian tertiary students.”
