The Ghana police say it has discovered the body of a German woman and her 13-year-old daughter at Kokrobite.
The police made the discovery after neighbors reported a strong stench emanating from the woman’s residence, where she lived with her Burkinabe boyfriend.
Her 43-year-old boyfriend has since been arrested on suspicion of murder.
“He is also under investigation for secretly burying the two at the bushy area of the compound of their residence,” the police posted on Facebook.
The identity of the suspect and deceased persons have not been revealed.
The police have however applied for an exhumation order from the court for autopsy.
