Statistics So Far From The 2020 Voter Registration (Phase 1-4).
The tenure of office of the current government is coming to an end. Also, qualifying Ghanaians are waiting patiently to exercise their civic right to vote and elect a leader of their choice.
However, for a fair and transparent election. Therefore, the president of the current government, His excellency Nana Akuffo Addo made a decision to compile a new voters register. Many considered this decision a risky one as the corona pandemic was still in action. However, the Electoral Commission gave permission for the exercise to be conducted.
The number of eligible voters who registered across the sixteen regions in Ghana summed up to 3,383,340. And these are the breakdown.
