Ex-Ghana international, Sulley Ali Muntari has hinted that a move to Asante Kotoko is on the card for him ‘soon’.
Currently, Muntari is a free agent after parting ways with Spanish second division side Albacete in June 2019 where he signed a six-month loan deal.
The former Inter and AC Milan midfielder in an Instagram chat with his fans over the weekend which was monitored by adwoaadubianews.com revealed that he would love to play for his childhood club, Asante Kotoko soon having lived in Kumasi all his life.
Meanwhile, the 2010 UEFA Champions League winner in an interview with Ghana News Agency in 2018 revealed his love for Kotoko and hinted that he would love to end his career at the Kumasi-based club.
“I love Kotoko. They tried signing me when l was a young player in Kumasi. I would love to retire with them, but l would not rule out Hearts, RTU, King Faisal or Liberty Professionals,” he said.
Muntari began his career with Liberty Professionals before breaking into Europe after signing for Serie A side Udinese.
