The fire which engulfed the 4th to the 10th floors, destroyed items including electric panels, cables, and some production machinery.
An intervention by personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) prevented an extensive damage to the infrastructure.

The Public Relations Officer of the Tema Regional office of GNFS, Ebenezer K.Yenzu firefighters responded to the distress call at about 8:46 am.
He said one worker was taken to the GPHA Clinic due to smoke inhalation but has since been stabilised discharged.
By 10: 08 am the incident was under control and finally extinguished at 12:38pm, he said.
