Outspoken Ghanaian politician and running mate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Matthew Opoku Prempeh has added his voice to the ongoing fracas between the OSP and the former Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta.
Speaking with the media, Napo, as he’s popularly referred revealed that he has also had an encounter with law enforcement where he was also asked to make appearance for interrogations.
He stated that he was facing medical challenges at that time but still honored the NIB’s invitation to their office for questioning.
He added that even though he was questioned and released, he was later called back after he had left to seek medical attention from his doctors.
In reaction to the brouhaha between the OSP and the former minster, Napo stated that the OSP had already warned to declare Ken Ofori-Atta wanted if he fails to meet the scheduled deadline for the questioning.
However, he pleaded with the OSP to also find out things for himself by paying a visit to Ofori-Atta in the United States of America to see his condition for himself.
As a reminder, there were rumors circulating that a medical report from the Mayo Clinic in the United States of America implies that Ken Ofori-Atta, the former Minister of Finance, is facing some health challenges.
However, the OSP has denied the alleged medical report that has been making the rounds, claiming that neither Mr. Ofori-Atta nor his legal team have provided it with any such records.
