FrimpongA statement dated July 2, 2020, signed by the Acting Director of Public Affairs of the electoral management body, Mrs Sylvia Annoh said journalists and media personnel are to secure accreditation from the Commission before visiting the various registration centres.
The directive comes two days after the commencement of the 38-day exercise which is scheduled to end in the first week of August this year.
“Media Personnel and journalists who wish to visit and observe the registration exercise at various designated centres should pick up accreditation forms from the Public Affairs Department and Regional Directorates of the Commission,” the notice said.
“The registration exercise which began on Monday, 30th June, 2020 will end on Thursday 6th August, 2020. We look forward to your cooperation,” it added.
