According to the legal practitioner who doubles as a politician, the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is sorry for the mistakes that they made in the 2016 presidential and parliamentary elections and he is confident of the party not repeating those mistakes again.
Speaking on the Kumasi-based radio, Sammy Gyamfi further stressed that they failed to highlight the failures of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and this made Ghanaians to believe in their deceits but as far as the forthcoming elections in concerned, those mistakes will not repeat itself.

He further posited that the recent Agyapa deal brouhaha cements the assertion that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is not to be trusted when it comes to fighting corruption in Ghana.
