The Prophet, speaking on Kofi TV, recalled the promises made to Ghanaians by then-candidate Akufo-Addo during his campaign.
He spoke about the pledge he made to shift Ghana away from taxes and toward production, while also criticizing the tax framework established by John Mahama.
Akufo-Addo rode on the economic condition under Mahama, according to Kumchacha, and persuaded business leaders to, “test me and I will make things better, port taxes are high, you can’t even clear your cargo, believe me and try me because when I become President, everything will be okay.”
We all know that Kumchacha would never make a remark without including a joke.
In his words, the President pleaded with Ghanaians to try him, to test him, only for him to be turned into a trial and test subject on Ghanaians, such as BECE and others.
