AdubianewsControversial Ghanaian social media critic Bongo Ideas has taken aim at award-winning rapper Sarkodie, calling his latest song release a disappointment and an insult to fans.
In a scathing post that quickly gained attention, Bongo Ideas mocked the rapper’s opening lyrics: “Cocoa Krakye, stack up money, WNTSD”, labeling it the “wackiest intro” he’s heard from someone considered an A-list artist.
“This is the wackiest intro I’ve heard from a supposed A-list rapper. Rapping “cocoa krakye, stack up money, WNTSD” in 2025 gotta be an insult to the fans,” he wrote on X.
He added that Sarkodie seems to have lost his creative spark and that continuing to release subpar music only damages his legacy.
“It’s time Sarkodie drops the mic & focuses on something better. It’s over, man has lost it.” he added to his post while expressing disappointment.
The criticism has stirred mixed reactions online. While some fans agree that the rapper’s recent work lacks the lyrical brilliance he was once known for, others argue that Sarkodie’s consistency and influence in the music industry remain unmatched.
As debate continues across social media, neither Sarkodie nor his management has officially responded to the remarks.
