The National Democratic Congress'(NDC’s) Parliamentary Candidate, Hon. Sampson Tangombu Chiragia, has asked the people of Navrongo Central to vote massively against the New Patriotic Party(NPP) because they failed to build the dog factory promised the people in 2016.

According to him, the NPP won the general election and the Parliamentary seat in the Constituency because of that singular promise but have failed to fulfill it after being in power for four years.

The Parliamentary Candidate is quoted to have said in an interview that the only promise the NPP made that caused the people of Navrongo to vote massively for them in 2016 has not been fulfilled so they should vote for the NDC which will bring massive development to the Constituency.

“The people of Navrongo Central, always benefited anytime NDC is in power. The promise NPP made to the people of Navrongo and could not even deliver was a dog factory.”

Speaking on the electioneering campaign and the need for a decorous campaign, Hon. Sampson Tangombu Chiragia asked his followers to pay heed to their flagbearer’s call on them to run an issues-based campaign devoid of insults and lies.

He rallied the members of the National Democratic Congress to go down and have a one-on-one interaction with the people and explain what the party can do for them when voted into power.

Hon. Sampson Tangombu Chiragia was optimistic that the NDC on December 7 will sweep 57% of the votes cast on the day.
