Controversial Ghanaian social media personality, Twene Jonas, has lashed out at BongoIdeas for attacking business mogul Dr. Osei Kwame Despite over the launch of his luxurious automobile museum.
In a sharp rebuttal, Jonas advised BongoIdeas to direct his frustrations toward the presidency rather than criticizing private success.
Dr. Despite recently unveiling the Despite Auto Museum in Accra, a state-of-the-art facility displaying a stunning range of vintage and luxury cars, including Ferraris, Bentleys, and Rolls-Royces. The museum has quickly become a symbol of wealth, taste, and entrepreneurship in Ghana, drawing admiration from car lovers and the public alike.
However, BongoIdeas criticized the initiative, arguing that such lavish expenditures do little to address the country’s unemployment crisis. He suggested that the millionaire should have invested in job creation instead.
In response, Twene Jonas accused BongoIdeas of misplacing his anger, stating that the root of the nation’s problems lies with poor governance. He alleged that the President and his officials are misappropriating public funds for their own comfort while neglecting the suffering masses.
Twene Jonas also praised Despite for building generational wealth, noting that his influence is so profound that even celebrities like Akrobeto and Nana Ama McBrown refer to his son Kennedy as “boss.”
